Vinho do mês

Todo mês quero indicar um vinho bom aqui no blog. E para inaugurar esse tipo de post, trago o vinho branco barato, leve, frutado e delicioso Sauvignon Château de Quinçay 2011 que tomei acompanhando um belo prato de frutos do mar na Paris-Pêche, sobre a qual vou contar em breve.

Preço: € 10 na Paris-Pêche ou € 7,90 na Chateaux et Services. Não encontrei para comprar no Brasil, mas fica a dica para quando você estiver em outros países principalmente da Europa, onde ele é vendido.

Encontrei duas reviews dele com safras de anos diferentes:

Chris Kissack do Wine Doctor, na Cellar Tracker: An attractive, pale to almost translucent hue. The nose has some lovely ripe fruit, but with a classic Sauvignon Blanc gooseberry essence, with citrus notes. There is nothing vegetal here. The palate carries the same lovely depth of fruit with a midpalate texture that caresses just a little, counterbalancing the bright eye-opening Sauvignon character of the fruit and the acidity. Very attractive and certainly worthy of this accolade; I can think of many a lesser Sancerre or Pouilly-Fumé which has been inferior to this wine, which has a nicely tingling presence, and yet is mouthfilling, with a more crunchy finish to keep you happy. A really good effort for the appellation. Alcohol 12.5%.

Natalie MacLean: Vintages Wine Panel: For the value-conscious wine lover, Sauvignon Blanc from Touraine is a great alternative to those from the more famous Loire appellations of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. This very crisp and dry, light-bodied wine shows lots of citrus fruit aromas and flavors balanced by refreshing acidity. My note: Refreshing and simple with ephemeral notes of melon, lime and grapefruit. Bracing and lively acidity makes this a very versatile wine with food. Food matches: cod, halibut in a lemon sauce, smoked salmon, sushi, fried shrimp, strong cheese.
